Kei Beckham is one of the recruits to call Kentucky home next year, and Larry vaught caught up with Beckham to ask why he chose Kentucky.
“Every time I have been there, it has been like family,” said Beckham. “I also wanted to have a chance to be part of a program that was turning around and help build something going forward like what coach (Mark) Stoops is doing at Kentucky. And it’s close to home.”
Beckham also is impressed with Stoops defensive coaching ability. Since he plays on that side of the ball, at the cornerback position, he will benefit from Stoops's knowledge.
Vaught was able to talk more in depth with Beckham, and they discussed Beckham's strengths, winning, and what the Kentucky players said about being in Lexington.
